We have continued a busy month in the events calendar with Flood & Coast 2025 in Telford, England. This year, Alastair Sheppard, Sales and Marketing Director for Flood Products; Richard Crowder, Solution Director for Flood Products; and Adam Parkes, Technical Director for Flood Products, all attended the event, representing Flood Products at our exhibition stand.

Event Highlights

Flood & Coast, which took place at the Telford International Centre, is an annual industry-leading event that provides a platform for attendees to debate and celebrate innovative solutions aimed at helping people and places most at risk from flooding and coastal erosion.

This year's event featured a variety of networking opportunities, workshops, and discussions covering critical topics ranging from coastal flooding to wildlife and groundwater flood risk. Equipped with a selection of desirable freebies, our team engaged in stimulating discussions with visitors and industry experts, showcasing the capabilities of Flood Platform.

Alastair Sheppard shared his enthusiasm after the event, stating, "Flood & Coast is always a significant event for us each year, and this year did not disappoint. It was fantastic to witness firsthand the level of excitement surrounding Flood Platform, specifically in relation to how it makes modelling data more accessible and enhances project delivery.”

A Personal Achievement

On a personal note, Richard Crowder was thrilled to receive the CIWEM President’s Award for new ideas and innovation. Following the award presentation, he expressed, “It’s a proud and momentous award for me, but it’s the people who have worked with me on the journey to build a lot of the technology and innovation that underpins much of what we do across the UK and the world that’s brilliant.”
